In confirmation of my telegram of the 12th instant, I have the honour to forward, in duplicate, particulars of the vacant office of District Master of the Saiyingpun School.
2.
The vacancy arises in consequence of the transfer of Mr. W. H. Williams to the new Victoria School which was explained in my Despatch No.400 of the 11th instant. An endeavour was made without success to obtain a local candidate not serving under agreement in one of the private educational institutions in the Colony.
